The Bible doesn’t promise an easy fix for our temporary struggles here on earth. But what it does is to promise that everything is possible for those who trust God (Mark 9:23).

This is not to blame anyone; if you’re still struggling with things in your life, it doesn’t mean your trust in God is not good enough. This is rather a call to persevere in that trust. At the end of the day<ins>,</ins> what kind of trust is the trust that disappears when things in the natural are wavering or uncertain? Don’t we have greater reasons for our trust in God? He gave His life for us in His Son, gave us a new nature, raised us up together and made us sit together with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). If we believed that, then we can definitely continue to trust Him for all the rest (Philippians 1:6).

When we question what God has said it’s like questioning His character. There are things that God clearly states in His Word, like “you overcome the enemy by the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony” (Revelation 12:11), “I give you authority to trample over every snake and scorpion and nothing will harm you” (Luke 10:19), “take heart, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33) and “no temptation has overtaken you” (1 Corinthians 10:13). When we question what God has already said, we’re like the serpent in Eden, who came to Eve and started off with “did God really say?” (Genesis 3:1).

So maybe the right question to ask would be: how do you overcome LGBT feelings?

Revelation speaks about the saints (meaning us, the children of God) saying that we overcome by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony (Rev 12:11).

Why the blood of Jesus? Because it’s the most powerful substance in the whole universe, it’s full of life, perfect, divine, uncorrupted DNA. And because in Jesus there is life (John 1:4). And because life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11).

1 John 1:7 says that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness. It’s active, constant. So, as long as we’re under the flow of Jesus’ blood, we’re being purified.

There’s no forgiveness without the blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7). There’s no forgiveness without repentance (Mark 1:15).

If you haven’t made Jesus Christ the Saviour and Lord of your life, you must do this before continuing; Saviour because He’s the only One who can atone for your sin and make a way for you to God the Father (John 14:6), He’s the only mediator between you and the Father (1 Timothy 2:5), and Lord because once He saves you, your life belongs to Him, as he paid for it on the cross with His own life (1 Corinthians 6:20).
By that you acknowledge you give Him the rights over your life to save you and to lead you.

Why the word of our testimonies? Because testimonies release the power of God (Revelation 19:10). A testimony declares what God has done and prophesies that He can do it again in the lives of others.

We overcome by exposing the lies in our minds.

The battlefield where it all happens is in the mind. Satan has come with deception from the beginning of the world and continues to this day. He is able to deceive by using something that has a bit of truth in it and twists it to bring pain and sin, just as he did in the garden.

When we realise that’s the way he operates we will understand that the truth sets us free (John 8:32).

In every specific situation there is the truth and a bunch of lies. The devil lies as he is the father of lies and lies originated from him (John 8:44). Sometimes there would also be false truths, or half-truths. We need to practice discernment and identify which is which. When we spot the lie, it must be cancelled and replaced with the truth. The Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of truth, will guide you as He inhabited you when you gave your life to Jesus (Romans 8:9). He will always lead you in the truth of the Bible. He will never do or say anything against or different from what’s in the Word of God.

Oftentimes our feelings and emotions will encapsulate those lies. In those moments it’s essential to be reminded that we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7); in other words, we follow the truth of God and not what we see or feel in the natural.

A lie is cancelled by speaking out loud, in prayer. It can go like this:

“I cancel the lie that (fill in the blanks). The truth is that (declare what the Word says about that specific situation).”

Example:

“I cancel the lie that I am cursed to have a life of pain and inner turmoil. The truth is that my Father has plans to prosper me and not to harm me, He has hope for me (Jeremiah 29:11). My life is hidden with Christ in God, is protected, is surrounded by Him (Colossians 3:3). I receive life in abundance, grace, peace, joy, comfort, strength, etc (John 10:10).”

Agreements are another way for the enemy to enter. When we agree with lies, we open a door for deception or confusion. The same when we speak ungodly, unprofitable words. The Bible says that we’ll be held responsible for every unprofitable word we would have said (Matthew 12:36).

Breaking agreements is not difficult.

“I renounce agreeing with/that (fill in the blanks). I renounce believing that ___”.

Example:

“I renounce agreeing with what Bob said about me, that I am unlovable, undesirable, and ugly. I renounce believing that nobody will ever love me, that I will always be lonely.”

In all this process it’s important to be accompanied by a sensitive heart to the Holy Spirit and a deep conviction of repentance. Believing lies is not pleasing in the sight of the Lord, so we must repent. Praise God He’s gracious and quick to forgive, so that His forgiveness is instant.

“I repent of believing all these lies. I am sorry, Lord. I choose truth, the truth of Your Word, the truth of what You say. I trust You. I receive Your forgiveness and comfort.”

We overcome by forgiving.

This is a big key for healing and deliverance. The Bible says that we must overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). So, when somebody wrongs us, we are to forgive them.

Now, I know, I know! Forgiveness is not easy. There are some horrible things out there people have done to you. I hear you. But you also, hear me out!

When we forgive it does not mean that we agree with what they did to us, or that it wasn’t wrong. It does not mean that they are not guilty either. It only means that we withdraw from the position of judge, because only God is judge, and we trust Him to deal with them (James 4:12, Romans 12:19).

We also fulfil Jesus’ command in Mark 11:25, Matthew 6:14-15, Luke 6:37, Matthew 6:12.

Also, if we put in balance their guilt towards us and our personal guilt towards God, which was leading to death, it seems like what they did isn’t as unforgivable at the end of the day, is it? And great news is that we have the Holy Spirit to empower us to forgive, we don’t have to do it alone or in our human strength!

And remember: forgiveness is not a feeling, it’s a decision. Sometimes you won’t feel like forgiving nor feel any great release afterwards. That’s because your heart has to obey, surrender and let go. Jesus said we must abide in Him, in the truth, in what is right, even when it doesn’t feel like that. By abiding in Him we get to actually become more like Him, and what’s happening on the inside of us gets shaped and aligned with His good will.

Forgiveness doesn’t excuse the person who did the wrong, but releases you from them and them from you. When you forgive you declare that you don’t hold them accountable for what they did but give that to God; you admit you are not the judge, but He is the Judge and He will deal with the person in His way and timing. It basically means you declare that you trust your Father in heaven to handle the situation.

As you’ve probably understood, unforgiveness is sin, so while in this process it is also important to ask God for forgiveness for it.

“Lord, I choose to forgive my dad for hurting me when he shouted at me telling me it would’ve been better if I hadn’t been born. I also forgive him for never or barely telling me any kind and encouraging words, for not showing me love in the way I needed it. What he did wasn’t right. But I choose to forgive him because You forgave me too. I choose to forgive him because I trust You and I release him from the prison in which I have kept him all along.

And I am sorry I lived in unforgiveness for all these years. I let it all go now, in Jesus’ name.”

Break ungodly soul ties.

We are spirit – soul – body beings. We are wired for relationships, we long to connect with each other on different levels, spiritually, emotionally, physically. We love hugs, kisses, we like to be seen, known, tapped on a shoulder, to shake hands, be listened to, be cried or laughed with – all these things make us human. It’s how God created us. And it’s good.

But, unfortunately, the fall brought with it the counterfeit and illegitimate copies of many of those good things; it also corrupted relationships and the way we do them. You know how God says that husband and wife reach a specific level of unity and become one (Genesis 2:24, Mark 10:8)? You remember the very close friendship between David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 18)? Or the corrupted relationship between Ahab and Jezebel (1 Kings 16-21)? There’s a specific chemistry between people, our souls, our bodies.

Without complicating it too much, whenever two persons develop a very strong relationship there is a tie between them, which can be good or bad.

Therefore, when you go in prayer ask God if there is any ungodly tie in your life connected to another person. A big red flag could be people you had sexual encounters with outside of marriage, manipulative or controlling relationships, relationships where there was any kind of abuse, occult practices and witchcraft.

Ask God and listen. Then bring before Him those people He’s highlighted and forgive them. Repent of any ungodly interaction between you and them and receive His forgiveness. Then ask Jesus to break the ungodly soul tie and restore to you all that has been given away or unrightly stolen from your heart.

“Holy Spirit, please bring to my mind any ungodly connection with people in my life that hasn’t been broken.”

Then listen, there might be a name that comes to your mind. Maybe one, maybe more. If you don’t know or don’t remember the names of the people, or if they are too many, bring them before the Lord as a group, trusting that He knows everyone by name.

“Lord, I bring before You the relationship I had with Andrew. I forgive him for manipulating me by taking advantage of my brokenness. I release him from the unforgiveness and bitterness I have been carrying. I don’t hold him accountable anymore for that guilt. I give it over to you.

I repent of my involvement in this ungodly relationship. I repent of saying that I will never be able to live without him and I break that statement in Jesus’ name. I repent of being sexually involved with him, of lust, and of breaking my commitment with You. I plead You blood over me to wash me clean of all unrighteousness. Thank You for forgiving me. I bless Andrew as well and I pray Your hand to be upon him.

I ask You, Lord, break any soul tie between me and Andrew and restore to my heart whatever was stolen or given out of my ignorance and naivety. Also, whatever I took or accepted from him in my behaviour, attitude, thinking, perspective, please return it back to him. And everything else from him that is still attached to me that I’m not aware of please remove it from me. Thank You for sorting out this mess.”

Now, of course, it’s your responsibility to walk in purity and wisdom. Once a soul tie is broken don’t go back to the same person to do the same things again. Commit yourself to Jesus and pursue holiness. In many cases there might be need for deliverance as well. We encourage you to reach out to your pastors if they do this or to some other trusted ministers.

We overcome together in transparency and vulnerability.

We are the body of Christ here on earth. A body is composed of multiple members and organs that work together in perfect harmony. Not one organ of the body is able to survive by itself. If you cut off an arm, it will die very quickly and start putrefying. It is not designed to exist apart from the body. We don’t really get to see walking arms on the street, do we?

It’s exactly the same with the body of Christ. The Bible says we are members of Christ (Romans 12:5). When we are not actively involved in the body, in the church, when we live like we don’t belong to it, we are as a stomach removed from the body and thrown away, eaten by bugs. Because we are designed to be in the body, not outside of it.

Community is essential for every believer, not just for those struggling with their identity or sexuality. It’s through community that we grow, mature, receive healing, love, affirmation and learn to walk in our purpose and calling.

Many struggles with identity and sexuality have at their root issues of intimacy and attachment, the desire to connect and be known. It makes sense that a big contributor towards healing in this area will happen through community.

It’s when we open up to trustworthy friends, pastors and mentors that we can be loved in the midst of difficulties and mess. Think about it: it’s quite easy to feel loved and accepted when you perform well as a Christian, but what about moments when you fail to do so?

Could it be that we attribute to God the same treatment we receive from others?
Could it be that our image about God is shaped by what we see in the people of God around us?
Could it be that we connect with the Father just as we connect with a friend, meaning that if our earthly relationships are superficial and based on performance we’ll have the same relationship with God?

These are questions to prayerfully think about, questions that are really important in your pursuit of freedom.

The people I know to walk in freedom from confusion, addiction and you name it, are people that have a strong network of mentors and friends whom they are transparent and vulnerable with.

Accountability is something that scares many of us. Maybe you also used to think: “If they only knew the real me, if they only knew what I did, what I watched..”. Let me tell you it’s never as bad as you think. There’s nothing new under the sun. Most probably those people you have around have been themselves through similar issues to some level or have known others who have.

Of course, be led in wisdom. Opening up to just everyone is foolish. Make sure you approach those people God is putting on your heart and don’t act based on emotions, but rather be led by the Spirit.

Having two or three grown up people in your life, men and women of God, ideally of the same sex as you, who are mature and hungry for the Lord is life changing.

The moment I started to open up to people in my life in this way, I have to confess that layers of shame and pressure fell off me.

The truth is that the devil likes to operate in the secret and to keep things there in isolation. That’s how he keeps you bound in shame and condemnation. The moment we bring them in the open, through confession, we do exactly the opposite of what he wants. The Bible says in James 5:16 “confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working”. There’s no complete healing without confession. Those saying that confessing to God is enough, let me quote again for you guys, from Amplified translation: Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

We overcome by loving on Jesus.

Many ask me how I have overcome. The thing is that there’s no quick fix to our human brokenness. There’s no magic pill I can give to anyone. The only thing that changed my life was a living, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.

Talking with people almost everyday it strikes me how many of them don’t have intimacy with Jesus! Sometimes I am shocked. They might read their Bibles (in the best case), they might pray to Him (asking Him to do things for them), and they might worship Him with singing and might go to church; all of these are good and you should be doing them. But where’s the quiet time, that specific, dedicated time when you just sit down with Jesus and get to know Him? Most of the time people tell me they aren’t doing that.

Think of a relationship between people: you will never have a personal relationship with me if you don’t get to know me personally. You can know about me, you can read about me, you can observe me, yeah. But in order to have a real relationship with me, where you know me intimately – meaning knowing what I like, what are the longings of my heart, what are my plans, what grieves me, what makes me laugh – you must take that time to spend it with me, not to ask me to do things for you, but to simply get to know me. And same vice versa. Now, of course God knows you, because He created you, but there’s no relationship if there’s no communication. He wants to hear from you because He’s interested in you!

By having this personal time with the Lord, He will surely lead you and show you everything you have to know, step by step. Jesus is not a technical God, He’s a relational and personal one. He wants your heart more than you want His. And honestly, you can have all the wisdom and follow diligently all this advice I have provided in this article, but ultimately, if you don’t have that relationship that I’m talking about there’s no real freedom. Because freedom is only in Him (2 Corinthians 3:17) .

There’s so much more to go into, but this could be a good starter. And the Holy Spirit is the best teacher, He will lead you into all truth (John 16:13) if you surrender and allow Him to.

Hi, thanks for stopping by! We really appreciate your time to read this short message!

We have a story to share with you.

We all come from a background of emotional brokenness and confusion about our sexual and gender identity. We’ve explored different ways and tried many things in the hope of becoming comfortable and fulfilled with ourselves.

Many of us have been through suicidal thoughts in the desire to not live anymore due to the internal tumult and empty promises that we’ve heard around us and in the media, “accept yourself”, “you were born that way”, “it’s just who you are, embrace it”.

That lifestyle only brought more and more damage to our mental and emotional lives. It left scars that are still healing to this day.

But another thing that we all have in common is a spiritual awakening. We all have had a deep personal encounter with Jesus Christ, not in the way religion portrays it, but in a completely different, relational and intimate way.

Ever since our encounters, we’ve embarked on a different journey of self-discovery as God, Jesus Christ, started to reveal to us the purpose we were made for – to be united with Him -, and the way we were created – in His image.

On this journey we came to peace with our sex; from the turmoil and desire to change and manipulate our appearance we came to see the beauty and purpose in the sex God assigned to us at conception. We started to appreciate and grasp the beauty of who God made us to be, as male and female, and to acknowledge that it is good.

God’s Word, the Bible, became the place that reads us as we read it. We learnt that transformation is possible and that desires can change as the Holy Spirit renews our minds. Without Jesus, there would be indeed no hope for change, but with Him we don’t have to live under the heaviness of unwanted same-sex attraction because there is hope and power available for each one who seeks healing for the heart, restoration of an authentic view of male and female, and of self.

We are saddened to see that the Church of England wants to change God’s beautiful standards of sexuality – the perfection in which He created every single one of us as to desire a union with the opposite sex and become one – a journey that we ourselves are growing in. Changing God’s Word to fit the same narratives and things we tried in the past in order to come to peace with ourselves and failed is deeply concerning. Such a view will only keep people who struggle with unwanted same-sex attraction bound in their undesired addictions and brokenness, without a way towards wholeness, transformation and hope.

There is no condemnation from our side for anyone, our circumstances all vary. But we choose to stand for what the Bible says and for those who, as a consequence of the Church of England’s actions, will be abandoned and sentenced to a lifestyle they don’t want.

There is no freedom to choose when there is only one option and that to embrace unwanted desires. What about those who want to pursue a Christian living with a pure conscience according to the unchanging doctrine of God?

Barclays Decided Ex-LGBT Must Not Have a Bank Account.

As many of you might know, X-Out-Load, like The IFTCC, is a Core Issues Trust (CIT) project. Basically, it is funded and sustained by CET, which is a Christian ministry that supports those leaving LGBT identities, behaviours and life choices and campaigns for their freedom to access help.

Three years ago, Barclays simply closed both CIT’s and IFTCC’s bank accounts under pressure from LGBT activists. It’s common knowledge that Barclays is a great supporter of LGBT and its Pride campaigns, suggesting they stand for freedom and tolerance for all.

Ironically, after closing the bank account of an ex-LGBT ministry and being asked what the reason for that was, they refused to give any explanation and only claimed they had the right to do so. Also, at the time, more than 70.000 people signed a petition on Citizen Go, opposing this shut-down and asked Barclays to restore our bank account.

We took them to court and three years later, with the help of the Christian Legal Centre, and on 30th May we won. We won because we accepted Barclays’ offer of a settlement of over 20K pounds paid to CIT, which is more than CIT had asked.

Why did they pay more?

In other words, Barclays said, “We’re going to silence you, because we simply don’t like you and want all our customers forced to be forcibly subject to LGBT indoctrination. Since you stand in the way, we will close your accounts”. And then, when called out for their discrimination and illegality, they tried to cover their backs by saying, in other words, “Ok, we’re going to pay you several thousands of pounds, since for you, as a Christian ministry it must be enough. We’re drowning in money anyway, and hopefully you’re going to shut up and everyone will just forget about it.”

Well, the reality is that people didn’t ‘just forget about it’ and started to speak up about Barclays’ favouritism and promotion of the woke agenda.

Moreover, people like us, who have left LGBT because that’s what we wanted, are not going to be silent about it, because you cannot bury the truth, and, believe it or not, God is standing for the righteous.

On the 29th of June we gathered in front of Barclays headquarters in Canary Wharf, London, and gave witness to what Jesus has done in our lives and how corrupt banks like Barclays try to shut us down.

Banks are simply banks. They should do their job in providing banking services to their customers. Banks must not have any say in the political arena.

We call Barclays out for discriminating against people who are not part of LGBT. They should be ashamed for using their financial power to silence the voices of those they don’t agree with.

The Lord God will judge them and their money with them, for deliberately choosing to stand against righteousness and trying to take away the freedom of seeking help of those in need of it.

Pray that the Lord will use this event and all the follow ups to open more doors to expose the hypocrisy and dark agenda behind Barclays and those like it.

Pray that the Lord Himself will deal with Barclays and strech out His hand against such a corrupt and perverse institution.

Pray for those who need help to navigate through their sexual and gender confusion and emotional wounds that their right to seek and receive help will not be hindered.

Pray for X-Out-Loud and CIT as we continue to speak up and be a voice for those voiceless and isolated in their struggles.

Last week we launched our second book ever! God is so good!

This time we adopted a different format and opted for something smaller in size, that would be easier to distribute to the crowds and cheaper cost-wise. <ins></ins>

We interviewed nine men and women from our community, formerly LGBT identified, who had struggled with gender confusion or been married with the same-sex. We tried to get a bit deeper into why they made some of the decisions they made, what the journey felt like, what the revelation is that they received – all of that with a specific focus on the church community.

We are grateful for our churches now, and for all the other churches which continue to stand for the Biblical truth, while compassionately ministering to the strugglers and those coming out of those lifestyles and identities. But it hasn’t been like that always and it’s still not the case for every church today.

We found that there is stigma on one side and lack of understanding on the other side. In some Christian backgrounds former LGBT people are seen as dangerous, unsafe, or weird. They might be criticised or looked down on just because of their past. In other cases, there is a sense of embarrassment or discomfort, Christians who stay away from these kinds of topics because they’re either scared, insecure themselves or ill-equipped to know how to deal with such cases. We have come across situations when we were expected to change overnight and for our issues to disappear as we became Christians. But that’s not how it works.

Most of the times it’s a process is longer for some and more complex than for others. And in every case, there is much support and accountability needed. In an ideal world church should be the first go-to for anyone who struggles with any kind of sin. The church, yes, has done a great job in many areas of life, and we hope it will in this too. That’s why we put together some helpful information; so that we could learn from the mistakes some churches<ins> </ins>have made, and follow the example of those faithful ones.

Thus, the new booklet has 22 pages and is divided in five sections:

1. Freedom to change my mind – exploring a different path than the mainstream ‘born gay’ idea. Our participants were asked if they were born gay and what made them believe what they believe. Find out their response to what many tell them and call it ‘living in denial of your true self’.

2. Why is my walk with Jesus essential? – All these stories exist because of the work of Christ in these people. None of us would be here today if without Jesus and the power of His transforming gospel. Jesus came to set people free from the bondage of their sin and to heal their brokenness. He does that today in many different ways

3. Are there safe churches for minorities? – We believe in community. Jesus as the head of the church means that we cannot be scattered. We have to be united and have the revelation of the fact that we’re on the same team. Yet, we can’t deny the reality of spiritual maturity; we all need to grow in that. A church becomes safe for a minority like us when it is able to provide the right kind of help, to support along the way, to show compassion, and offer resolution to the problems.

4. Pastoral care principles for Christian leaders – We also came up with advice we find in the word of God and things we learnt in our journey of both our personal restoration and the pastoral care in our ministering to others.

5. Prayer and more resources – In the last section we included a salvation prayer – considering that the booklet might be distributed to unbelievers – and several useful links for more resources about sexuality, scientific information and testimony.

We invite you to pray with us that this booklet be used powerfully by God in His reaching out to the broken and lost. Please do consider speaking to your pastor about distributing this book in your church and reach out to us using this form for discounts on bulk orders.

Our dear brother and friend Matthew Grech is about to face criminal charges in court for sharing his testimony!

This is incredibly scandalous as sharing one’s story must be a fundamental freedom. It’s really disturbing that many are led by governments that hinder the very people it should be protecting in court.

It’s not surprising to see that time and time again there is favouritism towards a single viewpoint, as another isn’t even considered. This endangers and alarms the entire community of men and women who have left LGBT identities and practices. It seeks to bring intimidation and fear every time we share our life experiences. It seeks to rob us of our confidence, of feeling safe to be who we want to be, as they would put it in their own terms. It seeks to compromise our faith in Jesus Christ and make us hold back. But we won’t.

Matthew said, “I am committed to keep sharing my testimony because I don’t want other men and women to go through what I went through in my upbringing and adolescence. I don’t want them to be victims of unwanted sexual feelings. I don’t want them to be robbed of the biblical side of the story surrounding sex, sexuality and marriage. I don’t want the masses to believe the ‘born gay, cannot change’ ideology, allowing that to go unchallenged.”

This is not just an attack on Matthew’s testimony, this is an assault on Christianity and the work of God. This is an attempt to reduce Christian faith and the gospel to simply a ‘religion’ or an ‘interest’ club. It’s basically saying that Jesus Christ cannot transform lives anymore, that God is an abstract concept and every born-again believer, a religious fanatic.

And it’s not just happening in Malta. More and more countries are opting for such hostile legislation under the pressure of greater powers. It is the perfect time to challenge every believer from everywhere to stand firmly against the current flow of this perverse culture.

Jesus never called us to comply to worldly trends, but rather to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Also, He said that the only way we would conquer the devil is by the blood of Jesus, and our testimonies, living sacrificially even until death (Revelation 12:11). That means we cannot be silent; we’re called to be vocal. A testimony speaks by itself in specific situations, in one-to-one relationships. But in a society that shuts down every voice that is raised against the truth, we cannot afford to be silent and intimidated. If we love living in comfort and predictability more than we love Jesus, there is no way we can conquer the enemy.

This is an open invitation to prayer.

Let’s intercede together for Matthew – that God would strengthen and encourage him to continue to stand firm in His faith and serve God passionately, as he does indeed. Pray that the Lord will grant wisdom and discernment to the entire team that is working on his defence. Pray for wisdom and strategy for the rest of the team at X-Out-Loud and Core Issues Trust on how to continue to lead and keep the banner of righteousness and truth raised.

Pray for the nation where God has placed you strategically. You are representing The Kingdom; you are there with a very well-defined purpose. Fulfil your goal and stand in the gap for your nation.

Pray for more voices of men and women who are leaving and have left gay and trans identities to come forth and begin to speak up, loudly and boldly, about what God can do. Pray they will be encouraged and supported by their local churches. Pray that we will be able to get in touch with as many of them as possible, so that we could do greater things together as a movement.

Pray for the work we do on our social media, and for the messages we spread. That they would touch many souls and God would open the eyes of the blind. Pray for protection, so that as God allows, we would still have platforms to speak up on the internet.

Please pray. Please share this article!

Matthew’s case will be heard on the 3rd of February.

Rom 8:31 “If God is for us, who can stand against us?”

If God prompts you to give to our ministry, you can do so here. Thank you!

It was lovely to see happy families walking through the streets of Lithuania. People there are beautiful, and even though it was pretty cold, there was life in the city of Vilnius. Walking on its streets felt like in a normal society, where there’s still a clear distinction between men and women, where people dress up nicely and cosy, where faces shine, and they look less confused about their identity.

God opened a door for us to go and testify there. Some opportunities come really spontaneously, we were still at the IFTCC Conference when we decided to go. Having two events back to back was not the easiest, but we felt it was God’s will and trusted Him for guidance.

We went to Vilnius where a national pro-family rally took place. Lithuania Family Movement invited us to speak about the existence of a community like X-Out-Loud. We shared briefly about the work that we do and the background we’re coming from. From the first time the concept of ex-LGBT was introduced and Lithuanians learnt that leaving LGBT is possible, that homosexuality and transgenderism are not innate.

Many times we believe something without questioning it, just because we heard it as a normal narrative over and over again. Same is with the “born gay” theory. Just because media has been promoting it for years now, without any scientific ground, people just embraced this false ideology as a fact. There are a lot of materials based on peer-reviewed scientific research that prove the falseness of the claims that say one is born with fixed sexuality or wrong gender.

We believe God is doing something in that nation which we’re not fully seeing yet. The response towards what we shared at the rally was positive. Several thousands came to support traditional family as the core of the society. The decision of legalising civil partnership is pending in their government at the moment, so we really hope this event would shine some light in the decision making process.

It was a privilege to bring this good news in a nation: that no lifestyle is beyond the redemption of Jesus. We saw the hope and joy of supporters at the hearing of such statements. We saw their faces, they rejoiced and stood with us even though it’s not all of them who know and follow Christ. The good seed has been planted.

We also shared our stories with the largest TV station in the country. It was encouraging to see interest in the transformation we witness even from a mainstream media platform, and we pray that many will be touched by it.

Our stories are so different. We’re coming from different countries and different contexts. We have different experiences and different personalities.

When we come together, the amount of love and grace is so big, that it doesn’t go unnoticed. It releases a power that brings so much healing and restoration in our souls and hearts. It’s a time where there’s no condemnation and pressure to perform. It’s transparency and vulnerability; it’s support and encouragement. And it’s the fuel that motivates and pushes us towards the end goal. We have Jesus as our common end goal. He is the power that has led us to become who we are today.

We chose a path that seems complicated and controversial in the eyes of many, but the One who chose us will help us make it to the end. He won’t let us down, He won’t give up on us, nor will He push away our affection towards Him. People might set limits and boxes for how our healing will take place, but the Holy Spirit decides when and how.

The beautiful thing is that God met us where we were. He wasn’t this self-righteous God in perfect heaven, expecting us to be complete and holy before He would move. No. He opened His arms wide and received us in our brokenness and shame, even when we couldn’t accept ourselves.

Many wonder, “why choose God when He hates LGBT?” Well, that’s a lie. His Word says He doesn’t want anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance and get saved! Many times the religious misrepresent the Creator, but the truth is that the Creator would never despise His creation, but rather do everything to bring it back to its original design, to the place of flourishing and true fulfilment.

Many say we hate and reject LGBT. But since when did sharing our life experience become hatred? Since when has sharing what we have been through become hate speech? If who we are is considered hatred by some, then it appears that there’s a hidden agenda somewhere, or a hidden reality. That sounds more like an accusation towards who we are today, and if that’s the case, then the hatred is not coming from us, but from those who accuse us of it. And besides that, how could we hate someone for being in a lifestyle we came out of? We are the most qualified to understand LGBT people with compassion and mercy. Wouldn’t we want to share with them the treasure we found that helped us overcome our fears, addictions, and sufferings?

Homosexuality is a sinful lifestyle because it is outside God’s design. He knows it brings pain and deception, and that it’s not sustainable in the long run. He’s not stopping anyone from identifying as gay, trans, or whatever they decide to call themselves. He’s not obstructing people from believing lies and building walls around their hearts to keep their confusion from being challenged. He gave free will to all of us, because He loves us. He’s patiently waiting for us to respond to His call for repentance leading to salvation.

There are those who receive our message, and those who don’t, and that’s perfectly fine. There are people who decide they want to follow the same path as us, and others who prefer to go in other directions. They have the right to do so. We speak to those who identify with our journey; we can’t hold back from sharing the freedom and joy we found in Jesus. And why would it be so offensive to those who have a different opinion? We’re not offended by their opposing beliefs. There’s room for everybody in the world.

People say that we suppress who we really are and that we abstain from pursuing a pleasant lifestyle. Who has given anyone the right to define who we really are or what we are “suppressing”? People judge us without having tasted the same power that transformed us and they err. They say that we are resisting something that our flesh craves, in a world that encourages us to follow any desire. Isn’t that proof that we actually don’t want what we are denying? Is who we are now not who God always intended us to be? What if people’s misguided words and negative life experiences drew us away from who we really were all along?

Millions of people all around the world are promoting and trumpeting LGBT. Why does it cause such an uproar when a few hundreds speak about their journeys out of LGBT? This is food for thought.

We are Unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus, because it’s the power of God to save. And we are Unashamed of our past, as it does not define who we are anymore.

What motivates us and helps us to keep going? The desire to see others getting saved, and the relief in knowing we can thank God that gay, lesbian, or trans is only who we once used to be. And if our stories can be instrumental for God in rescuing other souls from the deceit of this world, then we’re open, we’re available, and we say, “here we are, Lord, send us and we will go!”.

Therefore, we’re coming together in London, on the 28th of May, united from over nine different nations! And we want to meet with you!

We are full of the love of Jesus, of hope and joy, and our hearts burn for a society of freedom for everybody, freedom to get help, support, prayer, counselling and therapy for those who struggle with unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion.

After tasting different paths, going through traumas and conforming to what the culture forces you to embrace, after putting a label on our foreheads and deceiving ourselves with that which was never meant for us, we have come to the realisation that neither a homosexual lifestyle, an LGBT identity, nor transitioning will never solve the deeper issues that lead to that sexual and gender confusion.

Some of us have been through long term relationships or marriages with the same sex, only to discover at a later stage that it was going nowhere.

Some of us transitioned, took hormones of the opposite sex for years, and even went through surgeries, before finally coming to understand that our biological sex is the only real and fulfilling one.

All of us battled with all sorts of addictions, struggled with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and toxic relationships, only to find out later that Jesus was the answer to all of that pain and mess.

How trustworthy is the UK Government? How safe can people feel under this governing? How much understanding do they have regarding the implications of a “conversion therapy” ban?

These are some questions that resound in our minds in X-Out-Loud, as following the Government’s U-turn that just happened last week.

It’s disturbing to watch a government change its mind twice in 24 hours. The body supposed to lead a nation is revealed to be a circus where they are just trying to please the wide big mouths that claim to be the victims. All of that in a country that pretends to be democratic, while unashamedly and with no reservation trying to silence our voices, accusing us both of lying and practicing “conversion therapy”, which we neither do, nor support.

Also last week it was announced in the news that more than 100 groups quit the LGBT conference Safe to be Me, which eventually led to the its cancelling. The reason they quit is not that they stopped supporting the LGBT agenda, but because an LGB ban only, having the transgender removed, is not satisfying them. Now the government is in a difficult position since it doesn’t know what it stands for and how confident they are in the science that they claim supports the ban.

Despite that, the voices of former LGBT people continue to be ignored. These voices are not only ignored, but are despised.

https://www.newsweek.com/gay-conversion-therapy-group-defies-tiktok-ban-1694289

There was more news about the work that we do, that is our ‘harmful and hateful’ work, with a certain emphasis on our social media accounts. The journalist referred to our TikTok account and quoted the full message that I had placed in a video post there. The good thing is that the encouraging Christ-centred message has gone out. The bad news is that the account was removed by TikTok permanently and immediately, without any notice or warning.

So where does the hatred, and the bullying, and the discrimination belong? On which side is it? Not even mentioning that according to the UK’s Equality Act of 2010, ex-gay people are protected by law (parag. 98), since this category functions as a protected characteristic. But apparently the High Court ruling that established this is nothing more than words. Nobody cares that we’re daily insulted whenever we share our stories, or that our jobs or studies are put in danger when we say that we are no longer gay.

People get so offended that we don’t comply to the culture of this world. They are so offended when they are told that we follow Jesus and therefore our sexual confusion has been resolved and is transforming. And their faces literally change when they hear that Jesus can heal and deliver from homosexuality.

They act and react like that when they too fight against hatred and discrimination. These are the same people and the same governments that assert that we live in democratic countries. Weirdly enough, some of the people that trumpet “my body, my choice” restrict “my choice” to the killing of babies. Mutilating one’s body by injecting hormones of the opposite sex or, worse, undertaking sex-change surgeries as a “solution” for their problems apparently doesn’t represent a personal choice. There is a distorted logic here that the government seems to support.

For those out there asking themselves why it is so necessary for our voices to be heard, why we are crying out about ex-LGBT regularly, my answer is that because soon they will withdraw from you the right to raise children according to your values. Soon great persecution will be coming for whoever will not conform to what they, the big LGBT promoters and activists, dictate.

They want genderless children. They want to control the population. They say we are brainwashed when that’s exactly what they want to do to us.

But they will never manage to silence the truth. They may close our social media accounts but can never cancel our testimonies. We exist. Our stories are real. The truth of Jesus can never be silenced, because it’s the power of God for salvation.

Will you stand up for us?

We had opened another TikTok account, but they removed it again, this time along with my personal account with thousands of followers and millions of views. We hope you will remember how ‘free’ and ‘democratic’ TikTok is.

Share this article on your Facebook on our behalf (since they removed us from there), show everyone what is happening in the secret, behind close doors, where common people don’t have access. And subscribe to our news if you haven’t done it yet.

Also, we’re planning a big event very soon, and we need a lot of support and prayer. If you feel led to get involved you can donate here via Core Issues Trust and pray that we’d continue in boldness and confidence, despite the denial of our existence and persecution.

More details will be available soon.

Hello and welcome to our blog!

X-Out-Loud is an international community which believes that all people should have the freedom to choose how to live their lives and be able to leave LGBT identities and behaviours behind if they want to. We believe that anyone who wants help with unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion should have the right to get the help and support they need to achieve their personal goals, whatever they look like.

We are young, we are free, and we are LOUD! We are not ashamed of our past because that’s not who we are anymore. And we are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus, because it’s the power of God to save (Romans 1:16).

While some people don’t see homosexuality and transgendarism as being something of the past, but rather something you’re obliged to embrace as your core identity, we disagree with this because we have seen that change is possible. Moreover, science backs us up and agrees that homosexuality is the result mostly of environmental influences, not biological ones, which is why we don’t embrace any of the LGBT ideologies, like the “born-gay” theory for example.

Although we have been accused of practicing ‘conversion therapy’ and its harmful methods, we neither believe in ‘conversion therapy’ nor do we practice it. We don’t force anyone to change, but respect everyone’s integrity to decide for themselves. Also, we never impose heterosexuality on anyone, nor do we believe that people should be forced to follow a pattern in their journey of healing and restoration of identity.

We see same-sex attraction and gender confusion as problems of identity. It’s not a disease, it’s not a “born that way” thing, but a twisted perception of sexuality, gender, or self. We’ll dive deeper into all of that in our upcoming blog posts.

X-Out-Loud celebrates the identity of those who have found, or are finding, freedom from unwanted homosexual feelings and behaviours, or gender confusion.

We don’t believe in labels. Therefore, we don’t label ourselves as anything but children of God. Our identities are in Christ, and we are new creations, born of Him. (2 Cor 5:17)

X-Out-Loud is offering that safe place for those who struggle with unwanted same-sex attraction or feelings and gender confusion and reminding them that they are not alone: they have brothers and sisters all around the world who go through the same issues, understand them, and are ready to be there to support and help in good and bad times. (1 Peter 5:9)

Some of us have come far on our journeys, while others are somewhere along the way, or just at the beginning. Either way, we’re in this together because we’re called to be one body.

We also seek to help and instruct churches (or other groups) to understand what these issues are and how they should respond to them, but also how to provide help and support for those who struggle. We emphasize the difference between struggling with the above issues and living in the actual lifestyle of practicing homosexual acts or denying one’s inborn gender.

Sadly, many churches have either rejected and twisted the truth of the Bible and decided to follow their own ‘wisdom’ or live in ignorance and the fear of stepping in and being the voice that society desperately needs to hear.

But as Isaiah 60:1 says, nothing can quench the light of Jesus in us! We’re giving a voice and platforming those who have similar testimonies and we’re so excited that our pasts, full of pain and suffering, can now serve as encouragement and edification for others!

“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory andbrilliance of the LORD]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:1 AMP

In our blog, we will be sharing life stories, proof of God’s transformative power – the love of Jesus – at work in real people, our views on different kinds of news and articles that appear in the media, as well as events, bans, and much more.

You can support our ministry, along with all the projects and pastoral work that we do, by giving at this link. X-Out-Loud is a Core Issues Trust project, which is why your donation will come via this charity.

Also, don’t hesitate to sign up to our news so that you’ll witness the way God uses our stories and brings to life those inspiring ideas His Spirit gives us, which recently included the writing of a book of 44 testimonies of men and women who left LGBT to follow Jesus and embrace who they were always created to be!
